Our company is delivering electromechanical works for the Shotton Paper Mill Project in Deeside, North Wales – a landmark investment transforming the former newsprint site into the UK’s largest recycled paper and packaging production facility.
We began our scope in 2024, covering the electromechanical systems across a 92,500 m² site, including advanced production technologies, utilities, and supporting infrastructure. The redeveloped mill will incorporate state-of-the-art features such as a combined heat and power (CHP) plant and closed-loop water recycling, enabling high-efficiency, low-carbon operations.
